Wicklunds CARSTAR & Glass was called "The Body Shop" in Liberty, MO. At the time, Bill Wicklund was renting space from the Tyson Ford Auto Dealership. In 1973 Wicklunds built a new building East of Franklin School in downtown Liberty, MO serving the local area for 25 years. We moved to our new location at 941 Sutton Place Liberty, MO in 1995 and continue to serve the surrounding communities.
Wicklunds CARSTAR has maintained the prestigious I-Car Gold Professional Training Status for over 15 years. Wicklunds CARSTAR hosts current, up to the minute training sessions for both Wicklund's CARSTAR employees and other Body Shops / Collision Repair professionals in the area. These courses help by providing specific training to make sure that you the Customer receive a Safe and Proper repair.
Wicklunds CARSTAR & Glass Employees receive over 150 hours training yearly to remain qualified to provide our customers with a Safe and Proper Repairs.
Rochelle Wicklund has over 33 years experience in the Body Shop, Collision repair business. Rochelle Wicklund is serving on the Prestigious I-Car Central Committee - the training organization for the Body Shop / Collision Repair Industry.
Rochelle is very involved in the Liberty KIWANIS Club, starting in 1990, her service to the community and the KIWANIS Club has been recognized by the award of the KIWANIS Hixson Award and the Prestigious KIWANIS Table of Honor Award.
In addition, she handles the rental car fleet providing Wicklunds CARSTAR's Collision Repair Customer the added convience of One - Stop - Shop claim handling and Repair Service. Wicklunds CARSTAR will provide "pick-up" service for our customers, giving them a ride home or to work, allowing them to drop off their car for repair.
Gerald Wicklund is a second generation Owner / General Manager of Wicklunds CARSTAR & Glass located in Liberty, MO. Gerald has handled the day to day operations of Body Shop since July of 2000.
Gerald has a "6th Degree Black Belt" in 3 different styles of Karate, including Okinawan weaponry. Gerald was a instructor of Karate for more than 17 years.
As an active member of the Liberty SERTOMA Club since 1990. Gerald has served as the VP of membership and on numerous commities. In 1992 he received the SERTOMAN of the year award.
